Erika Lee Wheeler was born and raised in the Big Bear Valley. Before graduating from high school Erika earned the title of “Miss Congeniality” which reflects her sweet and sunny personality. Early in life Erika showed her talent for writing and has won national awards for her original compositions. Her parents, Lynn and Dixie Wheeler, are pillars in the Real Estate community and the reason why she decided to become the youngest Realtor in Big Bear Lake at only 18 years old. In addition to following in her family’s footsteps, Erika also attained a Broadcasting degree and has had the pleasure of being part of charitable events in LA such as Wholly Cow Productions, Children of Kenya, Operation Smile, Oprah Documentaries, and many more.
Erika met her husband Christopher Harris in Orange County where they began their life and family together. Soon they decided to return to Big Bear and the wonderful family friendly community it offers. Shortly after the move they found out they were expecting twins! Erika and Christopher are the proud parents of 7 year-old Ella, and the 4 year-old twins, Gavin and Evalynn.
Life is very full for Erika! She is busy listing and selling homes, managing over 300 full-time homes with Blue Skies, and making memories with her own family in her beloved home town of Big Bear. When she can snag a free moment Erika enjoys reading, still loves to write, and has now added practicing for the 2nd Annual Dancing for the Lake to her bucket of passions! She is honored to be part of such a wonderful event that supports our community!
