Kristine Yoshida and her husband Jeff Pellegrini fell in love with the beauty of Big Bear and the friendly community while on a mountain biking vacation in the summer of 1995. They decided to make Big Bear their home and Kristine opened Summit Dental is 1996. Because they weren’t busy enough Kristine and Jeff also decided to start their family in 1996! They are proud parents of two sons, Cole and Connor. Both are pursuing mechanical and aerospace engineering.
Kristine is a strong advocate of lifelong learning and education and believes that investing in the community’s future generations is an important responsibility. Her motto is “Pay it Forward” which is why she actively volunteers locally in many events and organizations. She currently is the Vice President of the Soroptimist International of Big Bear Valley Club, and Treasurer of the Big Bear Valley Education Corporation.
Kristine is excited to be part of Dancing for the Lake as learning to dance is on her bucket list because she often claims to have 2 left feet! Most importantly she is incredibly honored to participate in such a wonderful event that gives back to numerous non-profit organizations throughout the Valley. It’s the generosity of these organizations that make Big Bear such a special place to live. Dance on!!
